The North Bay Offices of the Alzheimer’s Association presents its ninth annual education conference in Sonoma County. This day-long conference is designed for family members and professionals who will be updated on the latest advancements in Alzheimer’s research, caregiver resources and tools and ways to increase the quality of life for both the person with the diagnosis and their care partner. We hope that you will join us for this outstanding program.
Would the Rohnert Park conference be interested in a presentation by the COO from Affirmativ Health (Bellingham, WA), the former CEO of the Buck Institute for Research on Aging (Novato) and I are presenting in August at the DMEC conference (Disability Mamanagemdnt Employers Coalition) in Anaheim, CA, titled, “Diability Benefits and Alzheimer’s Disease: Foresight is 2020”?
We discuss a pioneering, genomic profiling based Alzheimer’s prevention program, called “RE:mind”—indeed, it can result in a reversal of Memory loss in some cases—that is holistic (no drugs), and tailored to the individual, based on our premise, that with Alzheimer’s Disease, “One size fits One”. One clinical trial with a 90% success rate has been completed (published in “Aging” journal) and, subsequently, six 4-day immersion programs, with 18 early stage Alzheimer’s patients and their caregivers (who came from all over the world) have been completed (all in the town of Sonoma), with a 7th program slated for February 2017. PBS is currently taping a feature on the “RE:mind” program for airing in March.
